Description

This is the 11th edition of the Woodford Reserve Master's Collection. This Bourbon has been aged in new American oak and then aged for a short time or " finished" in ex-American Brandy barrels. All the complex flavours of Woodford Reserve are accentuated by the fruit and oak flavours given by the brandy barrels.

This bottle comes in a special gift box and in very limited supply.

The story about this whiskey:
The Woodford Reserve Master's Collection has traditionally honoured the pioneering and innovative production practices established at our Woodford County distillery in the 1830s by owner Oscar Pepper and Master Distiller James Crow. This release also honours the man for whom our county is named, Revolutionary War hero General William Woodford.

In 1777, General Woodford distinguished himself when wounded at the Battle of Brandywine Creek in Pennsylvania. To honour his sacrifice on behalf of our nation we have created the first Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey to be finished in American Brandy barrels.
